Day 4 – Project Life

About 9 years ago I had my first baby and started Scrapbooking because I wanted to a) do something creative with my time and more importantly b) record moments in her life for her to look at as she got older and not only see the adventures we had but also know how her mum felt about her.

Fast forward to now and with a partner and 2 daughters plus a crazy busy life I just no longer have the time to spend hours on single layouts but don’t want to forget about the reasons I started doing this.

Enter Project Life! What an absolute sensation this has been for me.  It’s simple, quick and you can really concentrate more on ‘telling the story’ rather than arranging your embellishments.  This year I decided to document our 2015 week by week just by printing the photos I take using my phone.

Admittedly, I am somewhat behind with my 2015 Project Life-ing but I am getting closer to catching up to July (kind of)!

Choose the photos you would like to document and print these.  I get my photos printed at Big W.

Then, there are no rules! Put your photos into the pocket pages, you can add embellishments if you like (not necessary), just don’t forget to journal your story or thoughts!

What do you do with the photos you take on your phone?  What do you do with your holiday pics? If your answer is ‘Nothing, they just upload to the computer’, why not give this a try?! Create something that your kids can look back on to remember those fun (and not so fun) moments!  A Project Life Starter Pack costs just $57.75 and consists of a pack of 12 Pocket Pages, A Card Kit and matching Accessory Kit.  This is enough product for you to create 26 Pages.
