This week I really wanted to use the Shine On Specialty Designer Paper Stack and the matching Sparkle & Shine Stamp Set that I just ‘had to’ have when the 2016 Occasions Catalogue was released.

With a few of the products I buy, I see them in the catalogue and want them right away but when I get them in my hands I either can’t work out what to make or I am scared to cut up the gorgeous paper or ribbon in case what I have in mind doesn’t work out.

For this project I knew I definitely wanted to use the Bermuda Bay and the Watermelon Wonder colours. It was just coming up with designs to compliment them that took me a while. I couldn’t find a lot of inspiration on Pinterest for either of these products which suggested that I may not be the only one struggling. With this in mind, I decided to become a pioneer (I use this word very loosely!) and create a set of 4′ x 4′ Cards.

I am really happy with the versatility of these cards, I feel like I always create Birthday or For You cards but with these by leaving some blank they can be used for a number of different reasons.
