So this week my baby turned 9! I honestly do not know where those 9 years have gone. Ava is just the most cuddly loveable little human with absolutely no filter. She brings so much love and so many laughs to our house that I just can not ever imagine her not being part of our lives.
In saying that…. it still does not make me organised enough to have a card made ready for her birthday. Nope, at 4pm I was making her one. I am so bad at making and posting cards to friends and family on time. Please tell me I am not the only one!
I did a Google search looking for inspiration for this card and found an image of one I liked by Tracy May – a Demonstrator in the UK. I did change it up a bit but the main concept I cased. The only thing I would change now that it is complete is the string. I would have stamped it in Basic Grey rather than Black Memento. Other than that, I was really happy with how it came out and so was Ava! She was especially happy that it was made in Melon Mambo!
