Colour Revamp!

Big and exciting news to come out of Stampin Up! this week!!  It’s colour revamp time!!  Woohoo!!  Here are the details…

There are still four colour collections, each with ten colours. There is also a new colour group called Basics.

In order to keep our colour collections exclusive Stampin’ Up! colours, they have moved Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Whisper White out of the Neutrals collection. They have also moved a few colours into the Neutrals collection, making it more exciting and colourful!

Some additional colours have changed collections as well—you’ll notice this as you look through the new collections below. You can refer to the old and new colour charts in the 2018-2019 catalogue. These changes were based on needing to maintain colour balance in our updated collections. For example, Poppy Parade is now the brightest red so it is part of the Brights collection.

‘Amazing You’ Shaker Card Class

This was last weeks class! Love the idea to use the foil paper inside out so there is a surprise when you open the card. Products used are below.

Inspired by a card made by Stampin Up!

Product List

It’s totally ok to CASE!

So, a while ago I saw a card that was created by one of my fellow USA Stampin Up! Demos Kimberly Van Diepen. I have followed her on Instagram for a while now and draw a lot of inspiration from the gorgeous cards she creates.

When I see cards posted onto social media I like, I screenshot them. Sometimes I come back to them, re create them, put my own spin on them, sometimes I don’t. This was one that I copied and am now sharing (case) with you!

This was the card that I saw and loved.

I don’t have the stamp set that she used so I created my cards using the Colourful Seasons stamp set and some very messy water colouring!

This card was created using Lemon Lime Twist, Garden Green & Emerald Envy.

This card was created using Cajun Craze (the first time I have ever used this colour – yep owned it for over 4 years!), Calypso Coral & Crushed Curry. I love the way the came out looking kind of like Autumn leaves.

Coffee & Cards

I am sure I have previously written about the Coffee Cafe bundle and shared a project I created using this set.

When I first saw this set I was sucked right in. As a lover of specifically take away, barista made skinny lattes, it was perfect! I was going to create so many awesome cards using this bundle… until I received it and started to play. All the coffee in the world couldn’t help me work out what colours to use or even help me work out how to create an aesthetically pleasing layout on a card using the stamp and framelit set.

This week I added the extra challenge of it had to be cards for a male… that meant no love hearts, girls colours or ribbons. Argh!!!

This was the result. I know, I know, still has a twine bow! But it’s still ok for a guy , right?!
